Simulation of Electric Vehicle Charging Load Considering the Bounded Rationality of Users

摘要
Accurate simulation on the charging behavior of electric vehicle (EV) clusters in a transportation network is essential for each electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) to develop competitive bidding and pricing strategies. Existing studies based on traffic assignment theory only focus on how completely rational electric vehicle and gasoline vehicle (GV) users choose their driving paths, without considering the bounded rationality of users in reality. To address this bottleneck, a novel EV charging demand simulation approach considering bounded rationality of users is proposed, where the evolutionary game theory is used to simulate the decision-making of users considering traffic restrictions. Then, to realistically reflect the charging route choices of EV users, differentiated driving objectives are taken into account. Finally, the simulation of EV charging load can be obtained by solving the evolutionary games of route choices and the market clearing model in turn. Numerical results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method and demonstrate the impact of bounded rationality and different decision-making objectives of users on the simulation of EV charging load.
