摘要
In this paper, the nonlinear effect of coaxial connectors influenced by temperature is investigated. Based on the theory of electrothermal coupling, a finite element model of metal connection is proposed to analyze the influence of input signal power, ambient temperature and actual contact area on the contact current density. The relationship between the power of third-order intermodulation and current density is obtained by using the experimental parameter fitting method. By incorporating the temperature dependent current density model into the PIM model, the effect of ambient temperature on IM3 powers is further derived. A series of two-tone tests in different environments are conducted to validated the proposed model.
