Role of Genetic Analysis of Products of Conception and PGT in Managing Early Pregnancy Loss
Obstetrical & Gynecological Survey(2024)
Abstract
(Abstracted from Reprod Biomed Online 2023;49(1):103738) Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), defined by 2 or more failed clinical pregnancies before 20 weeks’ gestation, affects 2% to 4% of reproductive-aged women worldwide. The recommended workup for RPL includes karyotypes in both partners, imaging of the uterine cavity, and testing for endocrine and autoimmune disorders; however, these evaluations result in an explanation for fewer than 45% of all patients.
