Power distribution systems require efficient deployment of Distributed Generation (DG) to minimize losses and enhance reliability. This work introduces a method employing Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) for optimal DG placement and sizing. By strategically locating DG units, power losses in the distribution network are minimized, leading to improved voltage profiles and system performance. The PSO algorithm iteratively adjusts DG location and size based on neighboring particle experiences, effectively optimizing system efficiency. The approach is applied to real-world distribution systems, demonstrating its effectiveness in reducing power losses and improve voltage profiles at random bus selection, highlighting the work's contribution to effective and vital power system optimization by simulating the four cases based on power losses.
