To evaluate changes in cataract and refractive surgery practice patterns among members of the Japanese Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (JSCRS) over the past 20 years. Questionnaire survey study. Clinical surveys were conducted annually between February and April from 2004 to 2023. Survey questions covered various areas, including cataract surgical techniques, anesthesia, endophthalmitis prophylaxis, toric and presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses (IOLs), complications, and refractive surgery.
