Nuclear Data Processing and Benchmarking for the Test Edition of China Evaluated Photonuclear Data Library (Cendl/pd-B)

This study generates the ACE-formatted library for the test edition of China Evaluated Photonuclear Data Library CENDL/PD-b by using NJOY2016, and verifies the applicability of the ACE-formatted library against the simple transport problem. This study also validates the performance of CENDL/PD-b on Barber and George benchmark, the photo-neutron yields of C, Al, Cu, Ta, and Pb targets were calculated by using the Monte Carlo code. The verification and benchmarking results show that CENDL/PD-b ACE-formatted library can be applied for Monte Carlo transport simulation, and the photo-neutron yields of C, Cu, Ta are in good agreement with the experimental values, all within the uncertainty of the experimental values. However, the photo-neutron yields of Al and Pb are lower than the experimental values, and more experimental validation for those photonuclear data are still needed in future.
