17TH ACM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PERVASIVE TECHNOLOGIES RELATED TO ASSISTIVE ENVIRONMENTS, PETRA 2024(2024)
摘要
This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the historical evolution and contemporary applications of Electroencephalography (EEG), specifically focusing on its integration with robotics. Tracing the origins from Caton's discovery in 1875 to Hansberger's milestone in 1929, the study highlights the formalization of EEG as a non-invasive method for capturing brain wave signals. The research explores the synergy between robotics and neuroscience, utilizing an EEG detection device to control a humanoid robot's movements through a meticulously crafted user interface. Incorporating wireless control mechanisms, including Bluetooth communication, enhances the range of commands. The resulting sophisticated humanoid robot, guided by measured brain waves, represents a novel cyber-physical system at the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the paper details the process of analyzing human brain waves, emphasizing their diverse applications across fields like IT, education, and psychology. The associations of specific brain wave types with different psychological states further contribute to a nuanced understanding of various cognitive conditions. This interdisciplinary approach offers a unique perspective on the intricate relationship between brain activity and robotic control.
