摘要
Embolization X-ray nanothermometry enables monitoring of nanoparticle temperature in cells, introducing a label-free nanoscale thermometry for tracking thermal processes in tumors. In article 2301863 by Álvaro Muñoz-Noval, Ana Espinosa, and co-workers, photoexcited gold-iron oxide nanohybrids in a 3D glioblastoma model are examined using X-ray absorption spectroscopy, enhancing understanding of nanothermal treatments. The approach detects significant nanothermal changes, enabling thermal sensing of any element in biological environments and material transformation into nanothermometers.
