摘要
This synthesis delves into the potential of natural foods, particularly coriander, fig, and green tea, in the management of diabetes. These foods are abundant in bioactive compounds such as polyphenols and flavonoids, which possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and hypoglycemic properties. Research indicates that they play a vital role in regulating blood glucose levels, enhancing insulin sensitivity, and mitigating complications associated with diabetes. For instance, coriander has been shown to exert hypoglycemic effects in animal models of diabetes, while fig extracts demonstrate the ability to reduce hyperglycemia and normalize lipid profiles. Green tea, with its rich content of catechins, has been linked to improved glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity. Incorporating these functional foods into daily diets offers a comprehensive approach to diabetes management, complementing traditional therapies. Nonetheless, promoting the consumption of these natural foods presents a promising avenue for combating diabetes and improving overall metabolic health.
