摘要
Precision functional mapping in extensively scanned individuals reveals substantial variation in the topography of resting-state networks. The clinical relevance of this variation is completely undetermined. We hypothesized that variation in network topography underlies brain responses to rTMS for depression. We recently determined that the antidepressant effects of DLPFC -targeted rTMS are mediated by a DLPFC-frontopolar circuit. Baseline circuit connectivity strongly predicted within-trial rTMS-induced circuit change. We asked if individual variation in baseline circuit connectivity is explained by variation in network topography.
