Lancet (London, England)(2024)
摘要
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a multisystem autoimmune disease with a heterogeneous clinical course that predominantly affects women. Systemic lupus erythematosus is characterised by immune complex-mediated organ damage. Kidney involvement in systemic lupus erythematosus, known as lupus nephritis, is one of the most common manifestations, occurring in 50–78% of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Lupus nephritis typically starts early, within the first 5 years after diagnosis, and is frequently among the initial manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus.
