Purpose: Discontinuation of LVAD may be associated with excellent outcomes in patients with myocardial recovery. In LVAD-related complications and partial myocardial recovery, LVAD discontinuation may be an alternative strategy to LVAD exchange or heart transplant (HT), although these patients might have inferior outcomes. The predictors of successful discontinuation in this group are unknown.
