On the Role of Nuclear Motion in Singlet Exciton Fission: The Case of Single-Crystal Pentacene. pss(a) 2023; 2300304. We wish to stress that we did not perform any new experiments or calculations for this paper. The entire discussion is based on previously published results by authors of this paper in collaboration with other colleagues. In this context, the phrasing of the paper in some parts of the text was misleading. Generally, we decided to employ “we” throughout the paper for the sake of legibility, but the accurate meaning is “some of us and other co-authors of Ref. 13 or Ref. 31”. In particular, the following sentences were unclear and should be phrased differently: Section 2: Original: “We examined the electronic dynamics with trARPES” Rephrased: “In Ref. 13, the electronic dynamics was examined with trARPES”. Original: “We used the momentum maps of X and TT to decompose…” Rephrased: “The momentum maps of X and TT were used to decompose…” Section 3: Original: “…, we have carried out FED experiments on the same pentacene crystals”. Rephrased: “…, FED experiments on the same pentacene crystals were carried out in Ref. 31”. Original: “We performed ab initio Ehrenfest dynamics including…” Rephrased: “Ab initio Ehrenfest dynamics were performed in Ref. 31. These simulations included…” Section 4: Original: “Our FED measurements provide direct…” Rephrased: “The FED measurements of Ref. 31 provide direct…” All of these modifications do not change the scientific discussion in the original paper in any fashion. Their sole purpose is to give a fairer scope on the authorship of the experiments and theoretical simulations. We apologize for this error.
