Paraneoplastic Eczematous Dermatitis with Palmoplantar Keratoderma As an Initial Manifestation of Acute Myeloid Leukemia

A 74-year-old man with history of hypertension and chronic hepatitis C infection presented to the hospital with a two-week history of subjective fevers and unintentional weight loss of ten pounds. He also noted a one-year history of a worsening pruritic rash on his palms and soles that had been refractory to treatment. He denied a childhood history of atopy or allergies and had no prior history of eczematous dermatitis.
