Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) for an Acute Type A Aortic Dissection Following Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
Journal of Vascular Surgery(2024)
摘要
A rare, dreaded complication of transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) is aortic dissection. Open repair remains the gold standard; however, most TAVR patients have a high surgical risk at baseline. Thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) provides a potentially life-saving treatment strategy. Here we present a high-risk patient, treated successfully with TEVAR. This is the first-described case published using an off-the-shelf device.
