摘要
Vibration is a common phenomenon in nature and industry. While it typically appears as damaging resonance that must be eliminated, it can also manifest as a novel technique. Especially when paired with amorphous alloys, the material’s metastable characteristics facilitate significant plastic deformation under ultrasonic vibration. The primary emphasis of this article is the coupling relationship that exists between directional vibration and forced deformation in multi-body systems, especially how it affects the mechanical properties of materials. We discovered that the superposition of coupling effects greatly improves the plastic deformation ability of amorphous materials. The modulation of material properties is predominantly accomplished through amplitude adjustments, with frequency exerting a comparatively minor impact. Nevertheless, variations in the responses of distinct material systems to vibration loading may be attributed to frequency. This research adds to our understanding of the mechanism underlying ultrasonic vibrations, and has the potential to broaden the application environment of this technology.
