Missing Data and the Last Observation Carried Forward.

Knowledge is gained through randomized controlled trials involving patients who are significantly ill and often fail to complete a study or interval/ incidental outcome measures. There is no universally best approach to analyzing longitudinal data. This is also true for handling missing data to preserve an intention to treat interventional trial.
