Measuring Work Performance: Competence, Motivation, Islamic Leadership, And Discipline As Intervening Variable

The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and Islamic leadership on measuring work performance mediated by discipline at BaitutTamwil Muhammadiyah (BTM) at Central Java Province. The population is a total of 180 employees with a total sample of 100 respondents. Data analysis technique using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) to find the causal relationship of the variables developed in the research model. Hypothesis testing results found that competence significantlyaffect work performance, but Motivation and Islamic leadership have not a significant effect. Islamic leadership and motivation a significantlyaffect discipline, but competence does not significantly affect discipline. Discipline mediated the effect of motivation and Islamic leadership to work performance, but discipline cannot mediate the effect of competence in work performance measurement.
