•Double-layered bimetal titanium-zirconium oxide nanoparticles incorporated magnetic graphene oxide.•The microreactor supported novel nanocomposite used for the transesterification of UCO to biodiesel.•The microreactor based nanocatalyst provided a conversion rate of 99.32% in 3 min.•The microreactor effectively assisted the transesterification reaction of UCO using heterogeneous nanocatalyst.
