The reinforcement of polyurethane by mini-sized graphene with superior performances

3 wt% mini-sized graphene filled polyurethane exhibits improved 81% tensile strength and 126.7% modulus at an elongation of 605%, and 17 times thermal conductivity (4.24 W/m·K) over PU. There exist more hydrogen bonds and improved microphase separation of hard and soft segments for the reinforcement of polyurethane by mini-sized graphene.
