Research Progress of Oligopeptide from Natural Medicine

Objective:This study was conducted to explore potential utilization and development of oligopeptides from natral medicine.Methods and Results:According to latest research results on significance of uptake and transport of oligopeptides,separation and purification methods,and the physiological activity,oligopeptides have advantages of better absorbance(easier than proteins,peptides and amino acid),and varied physiological activity.Those superiorities make them potentially marketable biotechnology drugs.Conclusion:oligopeptides are widely present in natural medicine,but the development is limited to traditional Chinese mendicinal products.Therefore,to develop oligopeptide products from natural medcine can be significant.
