Studies on Identification of Seed Purity of Japonica Hybrid Rice in North China Using Microsatellite Markers

Seven three-line japonica hybrid rice combinations in North China and their parents were used to screen their polymorphic patterns with microsatellite markers.Out of 48 frame primer pairs,4～11 pairs showed polymorphic patterns in each of the tested combinations,by which the A,B and R lines can be well identified from their F_1 hybrids,indicating that these SSR markers can be practically used to identify the seed purity of japonica hybrid rice in North China.
