Evaluating the Utility of FAI-Score in Coronary Inflammation Assessment and Its Implications for PCI Decision-Making
Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography(2024)
摘要
Introduction: The pericoronary Fat Attenuation Index Score (FAI-Score) assessed by Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) has been established as a dependable marker for coronary inflammation. Despite these advances, further comprehensive research is required to determine if significant plaques surrounded by increased inflammation are more likely to necessitate Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). This study aims to bridge this knowledge gap by focusing on the individual assessment of the FAI-Score for each coronary artery.
