Abstract
As the complexity of radiation therapy planning and delivery increases, the role of the physicist in assessing plan quality becomes more critical. Recently, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) TG-275 took a risk-informed approach using failure mode and effects analysis to establish a baseline for the physics plan and chart review to enhance the safety and quality of care for patients. 1 Ford E Conroy L Dong L et al. Strategies for effective physics plan and chart review in radiation therapy: Report of AAPM task group 275. Med Phys. 2020; 47: e236-e272 Crossref PubMed Scopus (70) Google Scholar TG-315 provides a concise set of recommendations for the review of treatment plans and patient charts. 2 Xia P Sintay BJ Colussi VC et al. Medical Physics Practice Guideline (MPPG) 11.A: Plan and chart review in external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. J Appl Clin Med Phys. 2021; 22: 4-19 Crossref PubMed Scopus (12) Google Scholar These reports provide practical and comprehensive guidance on physics chart checks, focusing on error prevention in the treatment planning process. However, no guidelines currently exist to provide physicists with the knowledge they need to ensure treatment plans are of high quality.

- Pretraining has recently greatly promoted the development of natural language processing (NLP)
- We show that M6 outperforms the baselines in multimodal downstream tasks, and the large M6 with 10 parameters can reach a better performance
- We propose a method called M6 that is able to process information of multiple modalities and perform both single-modal and cross-modal understanding and generation
- The model is scaled to large model with 10 billion parameters with sophisticated deployment, and the 10 -parameter M6-large is the largest pretrained model in Chinese
- Experimental results show that our proposed M6 outperforms the baseline in a number of downstream tasks concerning both single modality and multiple modalities We will continue the pretraining of extremely large models by increasing data to explore the limit of its performance
