摘要
Due to low aqueous solubility and the short half-life of Urolithin (Uro) B, we designed liposomes containing Uro B and examined their antioxidant and anti-tumor properties. After synthesizing Uro B-nanoliposomes, the characterization of nanoliposomes was evaluated. The MTT method was conducted to assess the toxicity influence, and Acridine Orange (AO)/propidium iodide (PI) staining, flow cytometry, and real‑time PCR (qRT‑PCR) were carried out to examine the apoptotic effect of nanoliposomes on the lung adenocarcinoma cell line. Antioxidant effects were measured by evaluating the scavenging of free radicals. The obtained data implied that nanoliposomes have a size of 78.9 nm, a PDI of 0.27, and a zeta potential of − 9 mV, and the encapsulation efficiency was about 86
