'Travelling from 1600 to 2020 in one week': resilience and leadership in school networks during the COVID-19 pandemic
Edward Elgar Publishing eBooks(2023)
Abstract
Modern networks are called upon to cope with an ever-complex environment. In this situation, resilience looks like an important property that networks must develop. Our chapter sheds light on factors that seem to be paramount to making networks more resilient. These factors are related to the ‘micro-foundations’ of network functioning, or better to the personal characteristics and behaviours of individuals who join the network, both in their role of network members and leaders: alignment of network members’ coping behaviours, network hybridized leadership, and network emotional homeostasis.
