摘要
baseline, -0.01(range -1.87-2.18)at 6 months, and -0.04 (range -1.28-1.64)at 12 months, with a significant difference between baseline and 6 months ( p = 0.035).After 1 year of treatment, 22% more patients had a normal BMI (chi-square p = 0.0128).Mean change in glycosylated hemoglobin from baseline to 12 months was -0.1822 ( p = 0.043).Mean difference in fructosamine was -16.5 ( p = 0.0007).There was no significant change from baseline to 12 months in elastase; lean mass; fat mass; fat-free mass; insulin; c-peptide; transaminases; or vitamin A, E, or D levels. Conclusions: Further studies are needed to understand the long-term impact of modulatory therapies on nutritional status and glucose metabolism in children and adolescents with CF.
