摘要
This book chapter discusses the potential of vitrimers and benzoxazine in promoting sustainability and reducing the negative impact of thermosetting polymers on the environment. The chapter begins by introducing the chemistry and concepts behind vitrimers, and how they can be used for chemical and mechanical recycling. It then reviews the fundamentals of benzoxazines, their synthesis and polymerization, and how their sustainability can be improved through the use of renewable resources and promoting their recyclability and healability. The chapter also highlights recent advances in bio-based benzoxazine vitrimers and their potential applications in various industries. By combining circular economy and green chemistry principles to vitrimers and benzoxazines development, it is possible to create a sustainable and efficient system for the production and use of sustainable thermoset polymers.
