Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Use in Patients Diagnosed with Advanced Ovarian Cancer (2214)

The COVID-19 pandemic posed critical challenges in providing care to cancer patients, including those with ovarian cancer (OC). Some studies reported delays in OC diagnosis and treatment initiation, while others underscored the importance of altered treatment recommendations in reducing COVID-19 exposure in OC patients. The SGO recommended using neoadjuvant chemotherapy to accommodate for delays in OC surgery during the pandemic. Our objective was to assess the association of the COVID-19 pandemic with neoadjuvant chemotherapy use in patients diagnosed with OC.
