摘要
Figure S4. Effect on skin above tumors treated with calcium electroporation MDA-MB231 (human breast cancer) tumors treated with different doses of calcium electroporation: 168 mM CaCl2 injected in a volume equivalent to 20% - 80% of tumor volume and 100 - 500 mM CaCl2 injected in a volume equivalent to half the tumor volume. Skin above the treated tumors was removed 2 days after treatment. EP = electroporation. Inflammation in dermis/subcutis and extravasation of erythrocytes in dermis were scored. Percent of sections in each scoring group and linear regression of mean in each dosing group are shown, n = 4-5 for treated and n = 3 for untreated/sham treated. Figure S5. Effect on muscle below tumors treated with calcium electroporation MDA-MB231 (human breast cancer) tumors treated with different doses of calcium electroporation: 168 mM CaCl2 injected in a volume equivalent to 20-80% of tumor volume and 100-500 mM CaCl2 injected in a volume equivalent to half the tumor volume. Muscle below the treated tumors was removed 2 days after treatment. EP = electroporation. Fraction of necrosis was estimated and shown as mean + SD. Necrosis, regenerative changes, and inflammation were scored and shown as percent of sections in each scoring group. Linear regression of mean in each dosing group are shown, n = 3-5 for treated and n = 3 for untreated/sham treated. Figure S6. Effect on muscle tissue treated directly with calcium electroporation Muscle tissue (6 x 10 mm) on the flank of nude mice were treated with 168 mM CaCl2 or physiological saline injection in a volume equivalent to 50% of tissue volume followed by electroporation (EP) or not. The muscle tissue was removed two days after treatment. Fraction of necrosis was estimated and shown as mean + SD. n=5-6.
