Racial Disparities in the Treatment of Endometrial Hyperplasia and Cancer (2211)

Racial disparity in endometrial cancer has increased during the past decade. To date, a vast majority of research has been focused on cultural barriers, socioeconomic status, lack of access to care, comorbidities, and tumor biopsy to explain these disparities. Limited research has been conducted on the inequity in the treatment of endometrial precancers. Thus, we sought to analyze the differences in treatment used in the management of not only early-stage endometrial cancer (EC) but also endometrial hyperplasia (EH). In addition, we aimed to assess the impact of obesity, comorbid conditions, age, and insurance status on the inequity of treatment.
