“Source-Network-Storage” Collaborative Planning with Dynamic Carbon Emission Factors

Under the trend of global carbon reduction, the power system urgently needs a deep decarbonization transformation. To this end, a source-network-storage collaborative planning method under dynamic carbon emission is proposed to achieve the carbon neutrality goal. First, according to the actual carbon emission of thermal units, a new dynamic carbon emission expression of thermal units is established. Then, a multi-stage planning model of source-grid-storage is carried out to optimize the resource allocation under carbon emission restrictions. Linearized approximation algorithm is designed and time-space scale clustering acceleration procedures are implemented to improve the efficiency of the model solution. Finally, an HRP-38 based system is set up to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the efficacy of the collaborative planning model under dynamic carbon emission is evaluated by several case studies.
