摘要
Objective To explore the bacteria flora, their distribution and drug sensitivity on the surface and in the tissue of hypertrophic tonsil and adenoid in children. MethodsSixty children with hypertrophy of tonsil or adenoid scheduled for ope-ration were chosen at random. The surface secretion of the glands collected by a throat swab before operation and entity tissue removed by surgery were sent for bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test. ResultsThe results of germiculture in four groups were mainly normal microbial population. The conditional pathogenic bacteria were mainly S.pneumoniae, S.aureus and subsp.Pneumonine, and the difference of distribution was not significant among the groups (P0.05). The drug susceptibility showed that the three opportunists were sensitive to cephalosporin and compound preparation of β-lactamase suppressant, and insensitive to pure penicillin.ConclusionThe results of bacterial culture and drug sensitivity from gland surface specimen taken by throat swab can reflect the microbial population of the glands and their drug sensitivity.
