摘要
In this paper, surface-enhanced mid-infrared (IR) detection based on a 3D printed plasmonic meta material absorber (MMA) is presented. Leveraging the strong field enhancement effect in the 3D meta-atoms of the MMA, we have experimentally demonstrated that a series of molecular fingerprint vibrations of glycine can be significantly enhanced. In addition, our experiments show that, due to the capillary effect, the microscale 3D printed features can lead to selective analyte deposition, providing an additional knob to control surface-enhanced IR detection.
