Design of a D-band Miniaturized Faraday Rotation Isolator

摘要
This article introduces a miniaturized Faraday rotation isolator in the D-band. The isolator mainly consists of segmented rotating waveguide, ceramic conical transition structure, and ferrite dielectric waveguide, with a transmission direction length of 12.8mm. Typical insertion loss value of the isolator is 2.5dB in the frequency range of 110GHz to 170GHz, with a maximum value of 3.8dB, and the isolation over the entire frequency range is greater than 23dB.
