Achieving a High-Strength ZK60 Alloy by Introducing Nano Solute Clusters

•The ZK60 sheets rolled at 100 °C both exhibit high strength.•High-density dislocations and nano clusters are observed when rolled at 100 °C.•The high-density dislocations facilitate the formation of nano clusters.•The high strength is caused mainly by the high-density nano solute clusters.
