摘要
This paper proposes a novel full-duplex (FD) and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) enabled edge caching scheme, where the popular files are cached at the network edge to provide proximity services. In particular, the edge node (EN) can transmit the cached file to the user via direct link. Meanwhile, it is also permitted to work as an FD-mode relay to retrieve the un-cached file from its nearby ENs, and then forward the file to the user via relay link. During this process, NOMA is utilized to accommodate the direct transmission and the relay transmission at the local EN bandwidth efficiently. Moreover, an optimization problem for maximizing the successful offloading probability (SOP) is addressed via scalable power allocation. Simulation results show the accuracy of derivations and the performance of the proposed scheme.
