Climatic Challenges of Quito

摘要
The study of climate change has become a priority in recent years due to the scientific evidence related to climate change. The temperature anomaly is a fundamental parameter to understand the warming present on the planet. In this paper, we present a graphic analysis of the impact that the Andean city of Quito will have in the face of climate change. We present a methodology based on the utilisation of Isomaps and the ARIMA model. The data is acquired by a network of Weather Stations installed in key sectors of the city that could be most affected by climate change. From the work, we can highlight that the areas with high probability to become the most affected by future climatic variations are located at the volcano slopes. Through a Temperature Anomaly analysis, we can forecast a temperature variation up to 13.4°C for the next few years.
