Research, Design, and Analysis of a Stacked Piezoelectric Metamaterial Structured Sensitive Element

This study proposed a sensitive element with a piezoelectric metamaterial structure for the low and medium frequency and high sensitivity performance of hydroacoustic transducers. This piezoelectric metamaterial differed from the previous piezoelectric composites, avoiding the drawbacks caused by adding polymers to piezoelectric composites and having higher electromechanical coupling coefficient and sensitivity compared with piezoelectric composites. The piezoelectric metamaterial sensitive element was prepared by optimizing the structural dimensions of the piezoelectric metamaterial through theoretical analysis and simulation.
