Ultrasonographic assessment of benign anorectal disorders is used to identify the anatomy of fistulous tracts,to evaluate the integrity of the anal sphincters in fecal incontinence,and the presence of rectocele,intussusception,enterocele,or dyssynergy in evacuation disorders(ED).
