Narcissus pseudonarcissus L. (Amaryllidaceae) bulb metabolite profiling and biological activities

•The overlooked non-alkaloidal metabolites of N. pseudonarcissus bulbs are described.•The acidic EtoAc fraction showed the highest total phenolic and flavonoid contents.•The acidic EtoAc fraction also exerted the greatest in vitro antioxidant potential.•The basic EtoAc fraction displayed the maximum inhibition of Caco-2 and Mcf-7 cells.•Different fractions showed antimicrobial potential and synergism with common antimicrobial agents.
