This paper discusses some typical applications of geometric measuring in optical parameter measurement, shows the importance and catholicity of geometric measuring in optical parameter measurement, and elucidates that the measuring of some optical parameters can be transformed to the measuring of geometric parameters, which brings the convenience in solving these issues.
