Enhancement of CO2 capture operation in oscillatory baffled reactor

•Enhanced CO2 gas capture using aqueous amines in the oscillatory baffled reactor.•Effects of gas flow rate, solvent types, oscillation, and temperature on CO2absorption were studied.•An intensified mass transfer by the oscillatory baffled reactor allows better utilization of turnover.•Achieved about 99 % absorption and volumetric overall mass transfer coefficient of 46.53 kmol/m3·h·kPa.
