Multiple cortical lesions with grainy enhancement of magnetic resonance imaging in anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody-associated encephalitis with seizures (FLAMES)

•An adult manifested seizures, headaches and cortical symptoms compatible with FLAMES.•Characteristic multiple cortical and subcortical grainy enhancements were observed.•This finding indicates the vasculitic nature of MOGAD and FLAMES.•This finding helps with the diagnosis and understanding pathogenesis of this disorder.
