摘要

•To the best of our knowledge, this is the first article to investigate the relationship between the clinical severity of chronic venous insufficiency and both the strength and range of motion of the calf muscle.•The assessment method used was the isokinetic dynamometer.•Increasing the clinical severity of chronic venous insufficiency reduces the strength and range of motion in the calf muscle.
