Abstract
In this study, we have reported on solution-processed vertically aligned ZnO quantum dots (QDs) assisted nanorod array (NRA) based Schottky Photodetectors. The photodetector is fabricated followed by substrate cleaning, thin film, deposition, and hydrothermal synthesis respectively. The performance characteristics of the fabricated device were performed under different pulse widths of UV LED illumination wavelength 365-390 nm. The photodetector has exhibited a very quick response and a varying recovery time under the different UV pulse widths. Here, it is observed that the photocurrent of the photodetector is increased (3.7 µA to 69.4 µA) as a result of increasing the single UV LED pulse width from 1 sec to 5 min.
