摘要
A 74 y.o. F was trialed with a percutaneous spinal cord stimulator system and had excellent efficacy. After an uneventful implant however, she reported worsening right upper hip and thigh pain that was different from prior to her implant. The pain had been steadily worsening since device placement, with workup being negative for acute hip articular process or venous embolism. Intra-articular hip injections appeared to help some of the hip pain, but not the thigh pain which prevented her from ambulating.
