摘要

•Extraction of antioxidative biostimulant from onion waste was optimized via RSM.•1.76 g/L of biomass yield was achieved using very low microalgae inoculum.•Microalgae lipid content was sustained at 19.42 % without major loss.•The biostimulant showed high DPPH (78.65 %) and ABTS (73.68 %) inhibition.
