摘要
•Nanofibrous iron-polyphenol-aspirin-coordinated nanochelates (GAFs) were constructed by inventive introduction of aspirin.•The variations in size and structure allowed the GAFs to avoid the risk of premature renal clearance in vivo.•The GAFs with slender nanofibrous morphology possessed superior Fenton catalytic activity and photothermal performance.•The GAFs could inhibit COX-2/PGE2, in combination with photothermal-enhanced ferroptosis tumor therapy to induce ICD.•This work provided a novel avenue to potentiate the synergistic NIR absorbing Fenton catalytic performance.
