Decomposing the Heterogeneity of Psychosis: Meaningful Disease Dimensions or Idiosyncratic Noise?

Psychosis constitutes an umbrella term for a heteregenous group of disorders that widely differ in cross-sectional phenomenology, longitudinal course and neurobiological underpinnings. Decomposing this heterogeneity into actionable disease dimensions as early as possible in the disease course is critical for developing more precise and sustainable treatments.
